Legal Aspects of Industrial Disputes in Indonesia

Around 694 cases have been registered in the Industrial Court at the Central Jakarta District Court from 2021 to May 2022 and still counting. Moreover, recently there has been a surge in layoffs carried out by some start-up companies, which may cause a rise in the cases registered in the Industrial Court. These cases can be reduced if the company can be prepared by understanding the risk mitigation of industrial relationships in their company pursuant to the prevailing law.
